This site is here just because I can. It's mostly links to stuff I like along with a few things I've built for myself (or their debris). I'm a history buff (both human and natural), so Quo vadis? is a del.icio.us news feed collection of interesting stuff I've come across online. The Webart feed is mostly the debris of old (and amazingly successful) experiments in link aggregation and advertising revenue. Everything I've been putting there lately has a lot of overlap with Quovadis.
I've been working in telecom R&D most of the past decade but I've recently abandoned my long-time unimatrix to recover my humanity. But even cyborgs have to eat and pay rent, so I may look for work soon. So if you need a generally proficient programmer who knows a lot about some of the more important network protocols, and who has tons of practical system integration and test experience (including customer and commercial partner interaction), then maybe I'm your guy. (I'm also well educated, intelligent and well traveled, and some people think I have a good sense of humour.)
If you want to get hold of me, send an email addressed to pete in the user part and graffiti.graceland.ca in the domain part.
